Late actress(Aisha Abimbola's) children, family in tears as she's finally laid to rest in Toronto,Canada [PHOTOS]

Friends, family members and fans of the actress gathered in Canada to pay their last respect as she begins her journey to eternal rest.

Children of late actress, Aishat Abimbola were soaked in tears and sorrow as the remains of their mum was interred in far away Canada.

The interment was conducted on Thursday, May 17, 2018, according to Islamic tenets. Friends, family members and fans of the actress gathered in Canada to bid her final farewell.

The popular actress and producer, died on Tuesday, May 15, 2018 after a career that spanned more than a decade.

The actress whose name will always be synonymous with the "Omoge Campus" movie, died of breast cancer in Canada.

Abimbola shot into limelight with her role in the Bola Igida movie, "Omoge Campus." Her sophomore movie was Eje Adegbenro," a film produced by Jide Kosoko.

She was also popular for her roles in Papa Ajasco, "No Pain, No Gain," "Awerijaye," "So Wrong So Right" and "T’omi T’eje."

Since the news of her death was announced, celebrities and fans have taken to social media to mourn her.

The President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, Emeka Rollas, reacted to her death,stating that it came at a time when the movie industry was beginning to make great impact on society.

Other celebrities who have mourned the actress include Toyin Aimakhu, Adeniyi Johnson, Kunle Afod among others.

It was reported the another Innocent youth, 20year old girl was shot dead by Police in Ajegunle while the boy that was with her was also shot & fighting for his life at the hospital. It was evidently reported the deceased did not commit any crime punishable under the law. This has come as a great threat to the peace of the nation at large.
