Former California governor and Hollywood actor, Arnold Schwarzenegger underwent emergency open heart surgery in Los Angeles Thursday, according to several reports.
According to TMZ, Schwarzenegger, 70, went for a catheter valve replacement but developed complications. Doctors then had to perform the emergency surgery.
He is reported to be in a stable condition and recovering at Cedars-Sinai hospital.
This is not the first time he has undergone heart surgery. The Austrian-American film star had an aortic valve replaced in 1997.
